Have YOU ever been deported from Mexico??

{Days 4-5}

We had left Cabo thinking we would just buy more stuff later because we had two more ports. We had seen another cruise ship the Carnival which had no Tenders going to and from which we didn't know why or even really noticed then. At 5:30 pm we all had to be back on the ship and the captain came on the speakers and announced that all cruise ships were being deported from Mexico due to a little thing called the swine flu! Which two days ago when I was reading it on yahoo before we left it was a little thing!

The swine flu was not in any of the ports or even near the mexican coast where we were going, but the government was calling all the shots so we had no say. So later we found out that the Carnival we saw got way shafted and wasn't even allowed off the ship in Cabo. So we are really glad we got one day of a beautiful day.

So basically we went back up the coast after Cabo. Luckily it isn't like driving in a car and you just sit there all day. It is a big place and does have 14 floors to find stuff to do. But we now get to say WE were deported out of Mexico, have you been lately??

Here we are on the main inside floor called the Royal Promonade. It was the "mall" floor. It had all the little shops, guest services, a few places to eat and a theater right off it where we saw the main shows.

Remember how we couldn't find a lounge chair by the pool on Monday? On the way back to California we were having 50 MPH winds that no one was outside by the outdoor pool. This is the "inside" pool and when I say inside I mean that it had walls around but no ceiling so the wind was being blocked but the weather was about 50-60. So those wanting Mexico weather thought it was cold and those of us from ID/UT thought it was fine to sit outside!

One fun place to eat, but we only did it once was Johnny Rockets. They danced. The first guy was our server. He said "I will dance for you." in his accent and I think he liked to entertain people!

We played around in the kid zone one day because we got a little bored when there was a spot with no activities scheduled.

Go on a cruise just to get crazy towel animals. Seriously.

Rock wall! Look out, more to come on this in a later post.

Larf...The two magicians that were good yet so full of themselves that if they ever come to a show near you only go if they PAY you! Didn't post a picture of the main magician, but if I did you would see thousands of dollars spent on steriods.

Dinners:

Our dinner table. Standing by me (I am top left thanks for knowing) Lisa 1 and Marissa. Bottom left from Phil is Lisa 2 and her husband Ryan. This group was so fun and we are glad we made such great friends so fast! Lisa 1 is from San Fransisco and Marissa is from Chicago they are old college roommates. The other married couple had been married for two years and from Arizona. So it was way fun to talk to people and for them to actually put us in a group that were all around the same age and not with all older couples or a bunch of honeymoon couples we never would have saw. It was fun and it really made a difference when we ended up not going to the next Mexico ports.

Dinner food was so interesting. It was fancy things that we never would cook in a million years. I tried things like duck, lobster, loved all of the shrimp from there and lots of other stuff. We had an assistant waiter, a waiter, and a head waiter at all times. The head waiter was always there and came and cut my lobster and duck for me. The assistant waiter kept trying to fatten me up with rolls at all times. None of them were from America so there accents were very strong and hard to understand at times, but man were they just there at all times.
