Friday we traveled to Utah to have a great little party to celebrate another year with Mr. Peyt. But before we went he had his 2 year old check up and convienantly he woke up very sick that morning (not convienant that he was sick, only just the dr. part). So poor Peyton was diagnosed with his 1st ear infection! 1st ear infection for us out of all 3 kids. Ah what a time to be sick, right? So we loaded up on antibiotics and gave him some snacks and still made the 3 hour trip to party.
Saturday he was doing much better. Grandma and Grandpa Shelton (my mom and dad) asked if part of Peyton's present we would like to go to the Planetarium to see Under the Sea: 3D before the party. FUN! Jordan was the funniest one. We sat down with our big glasses and started watching, it was great at first. Then one of the fishes looked like it was a little too close, jumped up to eat another fish, everyone else watching jumped but Jordan who jumped and screamed! Took his glasses off and felt it was way too real with the glasses on. So he watched the rest and sometimes we saw him hold the glasses up to look through but wouldn't put them on. In his words, "It's too close!" I'll admit when they showed the snakes that was not very fun thinking they were right at you!
I didn't have my camera at the planetarium, but the boys loved afterwards walking on the moon and mars rocks, looking at the spaceship and the "Rocket Man" (Jordan said that about the astranout).
After we got ready for a PARTY!!!
We were so glad that Mother Nature read the blog on friday and decided to melt the snow that came Thursday and hold it off until Sunday.
"Only in Utah you can play at the park in shorts one day and the next you need a snowsuit."
Peyton LOVED all of his presents. I didn't get a picture of him with all of them because well if you have ever had a party with 8 kids wanting to help the birthday boy open then you know why...
But he got lots and way too much to list, but he was happy with them all!
Maybe if I use this shovel it will just rip the paper... See he was already thinking how to use his presents together!

See the face...I think this one had a ball well bank, but in the shape of a basketball...
We had a car and truck theme, a few of Peyton's favorite things! So we ate some dirt and worms out of the dump truck!

Really mom I can eat worms??

Audriana loved her bites! Yum!

After we all played at the park! It was fun for all the kids they didn't want to slow down even when it started getting chilly out!

Grandma S. made him a jacket...good thing because he didn't care it was cold.

Audriana thought that pushing Jordan on the swings was so funny.

Jordan and Mason swinging away (nephew).

Cute Boston playing baseball (nephew).

When we were cleaning up we caught Peyton climbing up to finish off the dessert!

A present we got for Peyton on Thursday was Bolt to watch in the car! Yay for new movies! We had already seen it in the theater, but if you haven't seen it, it is a cute one to watch.
We got home today and the boys just wanted to play with all the presents! Jordan was just glad because all week he kept asking if we could open Peyton's presents since I bought them. When I told him they were suprises for his party he tried to convince me that Peyton would never know that we played with them! I didn't get a picture of the present Jordan gave to him, but I am pretty sure he picked out trains because he knew that Peyton would let him play with them!
GeoTrax (the main present we got for Peyt that Jordan really wanted to get out early!)
Thanks for everyone coming and making the party great and all of the great presents!
