Audriana had her 6 month check up today! She is growing so well.
Weight: 15 lbs 2 oz which puts her in the 44th percentile
Height: 24 1/4 inches which puts her in the 10th percentile
So apparently she is a short girl! Which is kind of funny because the boys have always been a little above normal height! But she is gaining weight despite the reflux. She also eats lots of food and loves it!
The drama queen in her DOES NOT come out when she gets shots though. She cries for the initial shock of it, but by the time she is getting the bandaids she is done and goes back to her happy little self!
At 6 Months Audriana can:
- Roll over (however she usually will just flip off her stomach and doesn't want to flip back!)
- Sits assisted and only when one had is held. She sure wants to try!
- Follows us with her eyes and loves to interact with her brothers!
- Imitates us, especially sounds, sticking tongues out and makes sounds with her lips (what the heck is that called? Rasberries?!)
- She moves around a lot! We'll find her in the crib way turned around than she was when she went to sleep.
- Sleeps almost all night a lot of the nights (knock on wood!)
- Gets very excited about things. Like when daddy comes home, when her brothers come say hi to her and when she sees a binky or a bottle!
- She is our little giggler and has the greatest laugh!
- Loves her toes and fingers to snack on...I mean suck on.
- Plays with toys and shakes, transfer from hand to hand, and throws them at good distances (I don't think she means to do that one!)
- Grabs anything she can around her. Especially my hair!
- She sings! When music is on or someone sings to her she loves to sing right back! Watch out American Idol!
Most of all she is the best baby and we all love playing with her!
Some of you may know we are looking into physical therapy. We are still unsure about it and the doctor is thinking we will give her a few months to get her using her legs more. Although she does kick us pretty hard! So we will see. It is kind of a choice to call a PT on our own though so we'll be watching and deciding!

What a cutie! Maybe Audriana is just like her Aunt Camille. I didn't put weight on my legs until I was 11 months old. I guess I wanted to be considered a baby as long as I possibly could.
She is so stinkin' cute!! Congrats on the cruise too you lucky duck! Have a great time and we will all be looking forward to some great pics!
