Easter was busy thanks to throwing Peyton's birthday party so Sunday was a nice relaxing, yet already exhausting thanks to the previous day. Since it was conference the kids wore their cute little Easter outfits the week before and then it was so cold that we couldn't go outside for a photo op! So I took some cruddy low light pictures inside, oh well at least the models are darling.
Before Peyton's party we did the traditional Easter egg hunt, sadly with our coats on! Audriana was freezing to death and I couldn't blame her that she was not a happy girl in the picture. But when her dad took her out and she got to pick up some eggs she was happy with that, she knows what those eggs are all about!
The boys and their loot. The first time they run in there and each kid gets three eggs. The second time they all can run in to grab as many as they can. Jordan is learning and grabbed those eggs!
Easter morning the Easter bunny delivered! The kids were so excited!!
Jordan got Toy Story {originally he got Toy Story 2, but he asked Peyton if they could trade because he wanted number 1} some books, a dot to dot book because he loves those things, a train geo trax, Buzz Lightyear, a Mario car, Mario shirt for PJ's {totally awesome you know}, money, candy, sunglasses and some other little things.
Jordan got Toy Story {originally he got Toy Story 2, but he asked Peyton if they could trade because he wanted number 1} some books, a dot to dot book because he loves those things, a train geo trax, Buzz Lightyear, a Mario car, Mario shirt for PJ's {totally awesome you know}, money, candy, sunglasses and some other little things.
Peyton got Toy Story {2 apparently!}, sunglasses, Woody, a helicopter geotrax, Thomas coloring book, 2 books, a Yoshi car, a Yoshi/Mario shirt for PJ's, candy, money and some other little things too.
Audriana got a magnet doll to change clothes, sunglasses, strawberry shortcake doll and coloring book, a ladybug book, my little pony, sunglasses, candy and some other little things as well. When she got up the first thing she went for was the candy and then candy and more candy. I don't think she stopped eating candy! Even after we hid it she found it. I swear she can find candy/food like a needle in a haystack.
The kids also had fun dying some Easter eggs later that day. How fun! It was a fun busy weekend and even though it was fun we are glad to be home.
