Audriana has been standing before Halloween and walking along the furniture long before her first birthday, but getting her to walk by herself was another thing. She would get angry at us if we tried to help her so we figured she needed to do it on her own time, but most everyone knows the issue about her feet and the doctor said if she wasn't walking by the next appointment she had to see a physical therapist.
On Thanksgiving she was at my parents house and if you have ever been there they have two stairs. She decided that was a good practice to go turn around and go down, she never looked back and she now loves to chase her brothers around everywhere since she isn't stuck at the top (we have a 4 level house, but we only use 3 since they don't go down the basement, lots of steps!)
The next day we were at Phil's parents and there was a blanket on the floor. She crawled to it, stood up and took 3 steps just like that! Of course I couldn't get her to do it anywhere else but on the blanket or a rug and when we got home she didn't want to anymore. But the past week we have been seeing her sneak in a few steps (if we looked at her she sat down) but the last two days she will go across the room.
Jordan's best friend has a 19 month old brother and since Audriana could stand Jordan would say look my baby is like his baby, oh wait she won't walk. Now he gets so excited when she walks and says look my baby is walking like his baby! Even Peyton starts yelling when she just stands up and walks "saying mom the baby is walking!" I can tell when she is walking around in the next room with them-Jordan tells me to hurry and get the camera!
The sound doesn't matter, except in the second part she laughs and it is cute if you can stand my cheesy voice in it!
