Memorial Weekend Part 1

For the holiday weekend we headed back up to Utah for 3 days. Saturday we had a fun filled day!

Saturday morning/early afternoon we went with grandma and grandpa Shelton {my parents} my sister Jessie and her friend Kim to lunch for Phil's birthday and somehow TGI Friday's knew it was his birthday and sang to him! Imagine that! Then we headed over to the Living Aquarium in Sandy. The boys thought it was pretty neat! Jordan loved the sharks and "Nemo", they had a little clown fish and a big clown fish so he said look it's Nemo's dad too!

If you know Jordan he is a look and NO touch at any animal kind of kid so of course he had no interest in the water pool to touch the sting rays or other fish. Peyton thought about it and touched the water, but didn't actually touch the fish!

When we got back we went swimming with Grandma and Grandpa Garner {Phil's parents}.

Jordan loved every minute of it. Half the time he would just leave and go somewhere else which last year he needed us to go with him everywhere. Of course I am not sure how I like that because I like to know where he is at all times, but he really doesn't need us since he is getting so good at swimming! He loved going down the big slide they had over and over again! He even convinced me since every time we had ever went there I had never went so he begged me to go with him once.

Peyton LOVES water, saying water, pointing out water, touching water, but he wasn't too keen on swimming that day. He was more content to just sit on the side and watch which he just laughed at everyone else! We got him to go down the slide once too, but he was done after one time!

This was Audriana's first time swimming! All she wanted to do was put her head back the whole time to just float! We'd sit her up and she would try to lay her head back, what a fish!

We wore the kids out and ourselves! Later Phil and I went out for his birthday and our late anniversary since we actually had a babysitter and saw Angels and Demons, so it was a nice and exhausting day!
