Christmas 2009 in Review

Our 3 days of Christmas is finally over and we are just starting to recover after finally getting back home. It started on Christmas Eve when Santa had previously left a letter telling the kids that he would be coming early because of our travels mom and dad wouldn't be able to bring it all home. So we woke up to see Jordan's requested item from Santa a train to go under the tree and a black Geotrax, he also got the new Mario game which he didn't ask for just mentioned once he wanted. Peyton saw a huge Cars Geotrax set which he loves and Santa did a great job picking it out and it's exactly what he wanted for sure. We asked him what he wanted and what he was going to tell Santa and he just always said cars. Audriana woke to see a big kitchen set, all 3 are very excited about it and now we need to rearrange to make some room!

Christmas Eve afternoon after Phil got off work we headed out to Wyoming and got there just in time for dinner at my grandparents. Then Christmas day the kids woke up to see Santa filled their stockings and opened all their presents! They got lots of toys and we haven't even opened up 3/4 of them!

Saturday we went to Utah to open presents with their cousin exchange. I took many hours to construct a ladybug house that I wanted to show off that I finally can for miss Hadley (niece). The kids had fun opening and playing with their gifts. Then we all went sledding minus Audriana who had a much needed nap and opened even more presents later. Whew what an exhausting week. I think that's how Christmas should be, 3 days so it's not all in 1 day and over with so fast.

Glad to see you guys had such a great Christmas! I totally agree with you on stretching it all out. We managed to stretch ours out over 4 days and it was great! The kids actually had a change to explore some of the things they got before getting new ones. Merry Christmas!!
