Jordan's 3rd Birthday Party!

We had a small family birthday party on Saturday for Jordan. He was so excited about it all week. Poor kid has been going to everyone else's birthday parties and he was so sad when it is not his. So finally he got one and couldn't have been happier. He kept telling us about his party and we needed to get balloons, candles and cake! We had a BBQ in the 100 degree heat in our backyard, luckily we had enough shade for everyone though. He got lots of presents and loves every single one of them. Thanks for everyone who made it so special for him!

We got him some more tracks to add on to his train set so these trains have been up in our house going everywhere! Right now he has them all the way in the hall to his room. He loves the bridge part.

Grandma and Grandpa Garner had already given Jordan and Peyton a combined gift, money towards a new toy for outside. We actually have it, but since we are moving we decided not to put it together until after the move. But in addition they gave him a train book which happened to be Phil's favorite book when he was Jordan's age. They have already had fun reading and Jordan loves it.

Grandma and Grandpa Shelton along with Aunt Katie and Aunt Jessie gave him this set of magnetix. He loves to play with them at Grandma's preschool all day and was so excited to get his own set for our house too! He also got some money which he will have some fun picking stuff out at the store again since that was his favorite part on his birthday!

When I would ask him what he wanted for his birthday he just kept telling me Wall-E. So he finally got him! Both the boys have had so much fun with him. Peyton just keeps pushing the buttons to make him talk and they just laugh at him.

He got a ton more that I didn't post the pictures of. He got some Thomas stuff from Aunt Camille, Uncle Jeremy and his cousin Boston that he just loved! When he got to the coloring book he just looked through it and didn't want to keep going, he has already colored a few pages in it too!

Uncle Matt and his cousins Logan and Mason gave him some star wars toys and some candy. We had to put the candy in the fridge since it was so hot it had melted by the time he had opened it! Both of his cousins did tell him what he got in the presents, they haven't learned the secret part of the present yet! Jordan didn't care he was excited when he opened it.

Tennille (Phil's cousin) gave Jordan some bubbles and he is going to have fun with those! He loves to chase bubbles around.

Our friends the Burns couldn't come to the party (we missed you guys!) but they were so nice to send a present for Jordan to open. He got this awesome camping set with a tent and sleeping bag. I can see lots of fun times in it at our new house!

Here's a picture of my attempted Thomas train and decoration with his stack of presents inside!

We had the pool set up for the kids, actually Jordan never went in it because we made the mistake of letting him open his presents first and after that he just wanted to go inside to play with his toys! So here is my other little baby enjoying the water! He is such a fish!

The cake...I had to keep trading trains on it because Jordan would let me borrow one and then he decided he needed it. In the end he let me use Edward (well he will tell you it is Gordon because they look alike, but Edward is number 2 and Gordon is 4 I think!)

And finally Jordan was involved in a gift exchange with a group of my friends. We each had a different name and sent a gift. We sent a gift to Max who lives in Canada! Brayden who lives in Oregon had Jordan's name and sent him a bunch of Thomas stuff and this outfit. Both of the boys are so alike with their love of Thomas and they actually have the same birthday. He loves to wear his Thomas!
